I’ve called Orange Beach home for over 20 years, and growing up, some of my best memories were made right here on the water with my family and friends. That love for the water turned into a passion… and that passion turned into a plan. 

After college (Roll Tide!), I set out to work as close to the water as possible. In December 2023, I finally took the plunge and decided to make my dream a reality. By March 2024, I had earned my OUPV Captain’s License. Fast forward to May 2024, I bought my vessel, shed a few boat-related tears (looking at you, surprise repairs), and officially launched Riptide Cruises a year later in May 2025!

Riptide Cruises is the dream I (re)built from the deck up, and I’m thrilled to welcome you aboard. Whether you're here for a relaxing cruise, an island party, or just a cotton candy sunset, I’m here to help make some unforgettable memories.

 About Riptide

Riptide Cruises is a 2018 Caravelle Razor 237 UR E-Toon, which is designed for both performance and comfort, ensuring you can relax and enjoy the stunning coastal scenery. I picked this vessel because of its versatility, with a capability of speeds up to 40mph, but also the space and seating of a pontoon.

The vessel has been stripped down to the hull and rebuilt (It's safe to say that I've replaced every. single. screw.) It has undergone major upgrades, such as new flooring, upholstery, electronics, stereo system, power pole, bottom paint, accent lighting, and even a new ladder.

Why the name "Riptide"?

Boating has always been a family tradition. Growing up, my parents named their boats High Tide, and when my brother bought his first boat a few years ago, he continued the theme by naming it Low Tide.

When I started planning my own charter business, I wanted a name that fit right in with the family tradition. During one of our brainstorming sessions, my mom suggested Riptide, and it immediately felt like the perfect fit.

Today, Riptide Cruises is more than just a business name. It's a nod to my family's love for the water and the boating memories that inspired me to build this dream.
